Summer Theatre Fundraiser & Enrichment Program

Each year, the D41 Kids Foundation hosts its largest fundraiser — a no-cut theater enrichment program open to all District 41 students from kindergarten through 8th grade, no experience required. More than a performance opportunity, this program is a true enrichment experience. Under the guidance of local director Gina Wood, students develop skills in acting, singing, dancing, and stage presence while also learning teamwork, responsibility, and creative problem-solving.

Throughout the enrichment program, children strengthen their abilities, build confidence, form new friendships, and—most importantly—have FUN.

Our productions have included The Lion King (2022), Moana Jr. (2023), Beauty and the Beast (2024), and Seussical (2025). Each show has been a tremendous success and has helped raise significant funds to support District 41 students and their families.
