District 41 Families Assistance Program Helping Local Families in Crisis

This unique program acknowledges that sometimes families face crises and need a little help. During the pandemic, the District 41 Families Assistance Program provided rental assistance and food voucher to ensure that our children were secure and well fed. Since that time, we have continued to step up to make sure that our children are able to arrive to school ready to learn. Leaning heavily on our school social workers and administrators, each situation is carefully vetted and determined by our guiding principle: will the Foundation’s investment remove obstacles to learning for the children whose families are in crisis. If the answer is yes, the Foundation stands ready to help.
